The ancient capital of all time, the hospitable host of the National Games, this great city is showing its profound culture also the dynamics through the passion and charm during the grand event. This time, more than 180,000 volunteers were recruited for the 14th National Games and National Paralympic Games, students from universities of Shaanxi are also taking actions to enrich the connotation of this event.

Shaanxi Normal University

                                

At the opening ceremony of the 14th National Games, 460 students from Shaanxi Normal University undertook the performances of the "Neon Feather Dance" for the first chapter, the  "People of Shanbei" and "Modern Builders" for the second chapter, as well as the "Wreath" at the end.

                          

                         

Since the rehearsal in May, the teachers and students have gone through countless practices for over 100 days and nights. Leaving sweat and tears behind during the summer, they created and presented this beautiful scenery at the opening ceremony.

Chang'an University

       

         

For the cultural and sports performances during the opening ceremony, 476 students from Chang'an University participated in the preface "Welcoming Drums" and the first chapter "The Roots of the Chinese Nation".

         

Though under the tough environment and intensive training, the determined students kept on practicing and worked hard in order to present a visual feast.

         

Moreover, Chang'an University as designated feeding unit of volunteers signed up 493 candidates in total, among them, 328 volunteers focus on track and field events and 165 volunteers work for the news center.

Xi'an Jiaotong University

                                                              

Xi'an Jiaotong University signed up 732 volunteers, respectively for opening and closing ceremonies, swimming and diving events, BMX, reception affairs and documenting work.

Northwest University        

                                                        

Volunteers of NWU took great efforts in all facets of the game. Whether it is behind the scenes or at the frontier, the busy volunteers working around can be captured all the time. They really serve around the details, leaving no space for errors.

         

The 228 volunteers of NWU truly acted out the spirit of their university —— "Dedication, friendship, cooperation, and progression".
