In the valley below the Yaowang Mountain in the Yaozhou District lies the Cotton Depot, a one-kilometer-odd valley consists of dozens of kilns on both sides.
Walking in along the unpaved path at the foot of the hill, you can see the European-style castle complex on the beam of the hill like the kingdom of fairy tales.
The Cotton Depot is actually a strategically important reserve of cotton in the 1960s and 1970s. See~there are still several old items.

The music score of a revolutionary song
A creaking stone mill
No longer in use for a long time, the Cotton Depot was upgraded in 2013 in order to preserve history memory. European-style castles and towers were built, and the kilns were used to for catering and homestays.
Once a strategic material reserve, it has gained a new trace of life via renovation. Ancient, modern, exotic, nostalgic…are all unique hashtags for the place.
The renovated Cotton Depot has retained its historical imprint and is also available for people to go sightseeing. Its winding paths, babbling brooks, European-style castles and towers, and old objects that bring you back to 20th century all worth a visit in the pursuit of idyllic scenery.
