Latest update on COVID-19 in Shaanxi

From 0:00 to 24:00 on March 15, there were 28 newly confirmed local cases ( 8 in Xi'an, 13 in Baoji, 5 in Hanzhong, 1 in Tongchuan, 1 in Xianyang) in Shaanxi. Since March 5, a total of    273 confirmed local cases (85 in Xi'an, 162 in Baoji, 20 in Hanzhong, 1 in Yangling Demonstration Zone, 3 in Tongchuan, 2 in Xianyang) were reported in Shaanxi, all in hospital now.

According to the latest epidemic prevention and control policy in Xi'an, please present the digital travel record, valid personal ID, health code and negative result of 48-hour NAT at the entrance of the terminal.

For passengers whose digital travel records show the trajectory of Xi'an, they will be required to present the green health code and negative result of NAT within 48 hours; for those who are in the districts and counties where medium and high-risk areas are located, they shall present the approval of leaving the city issued by the epidemic control command of the districts and counties (as of 18:00 Mar 15, districts with medium and high-risk areas are Qujiang New Area, Xincheng District, Beilin District, Lianhu District, Weiyang District, Jingkai District).

For districts and counties with confirmed cases, dine-in is suspended    

According to the press conference on epidemic prevention and control in Xi'an held on Mar 15, social control in Xi'an has now been comprehensively tightened. At present, gatherings and mass gathering activities have been suspended; chessboard rooms, mahjong parlors, libraries, theaters and other non-essential enclosed places and underground venues are suspended; for shopping malls, supermarkets, farmers' markets, wholesale markets and other public places, as well as buses, subways and other public transportation, the flow of people is strictly controlled, which shall not exceed 50% of the maximum capacity; for districts and counties with confirmed cases, dine-in is suspended, but take-out and delivery service can still be provided.

2 medium-risk areas added in Xi'an

The following 2 areas were adjusted to medium-risk areas from 17:00 on March 15, 2022.

1.Hongtu Xingcheng neighborhood, Weiyanggong Street, Weiyang District

2.Block A, B, Lijun V Era neighborhood, Fengcheng 1st Road, Jingkai District

Bell and Drum Tower Museum was temporarily closed from March 15, 2022, the specific resumption time to be determined.

Hancheng Lake Scenic Area was temporarily closed from March 14, 2022, the specific resumption time to be determined.

Guanzhong Art Museum of Folk Customs was temporarily closed from March 16, 2022, the specific resumption time to be determined.

Xi'an Huaxia Cultural Tourism Ocean Park was temporarily closed from March 15, 2022, the specific resumption time to be determined.

Qujiang Ocean Polar Park was temporarily closed from March 15, 2022, the specific resumption time to be determined.

Lewa Adventure was temporarily closed from March 14, 2022, the specific resumption time to be determined.

Shows and plays at Dahua 1935, Live Center of Qujiang Creative Circle, Yisu Theatre were postponed, the venues are temporarily closed.
