As 2024 just arrived, how about going for a hike in the Mountain Huashan and enjoying the splendid snow scenes there?

Throughout January 2024, the entry of Mountain Huashan Scenic Area will be free to the public. Gather your besties and head to the summit of Mountain Huashan to enjoy the snow scenes and welcome the first light of 2024 on the mountain top.

Make the reservation

Entry is free from Dec 26, 2023 to Jan 31, 2024. During this period, you may make the reservation for entry via the official WeChat account or mini program of "华山旅游服务平台".

Options for reaching the summit

Hiking by foot 

Entry check point: Yuquan Yuan

Hiking up the mountain is pretty exhausting. Even reaching the lowest peak of Mountain Huashan —— North Peak will take around 4-6 hours, and no transportation is available throughout the journey. Therefore, please make sure to prepare yourself well~

Via cable car

Entry check point: Visitor Service Center

1.Cable car towards the West Peak

The cable car can take visitors to the West Peak directly (Zhenyue Palace), and then visitors can tour via the route: West Peak -> Qinglong Ridge -> South Peak -> East Peak -> Middle Peak -> North Peak.

For tickets of the cable car, visitors may search "西峰索道" at the WeChat mini program "华山旅游服务平台" to purchase. 

2.Cable car towards the North Peak

The cable car can take visitors to the North Peak directly, and then visitors can tour via the route: North Peak -> Middle Peak -> East Peak -> South Peak -> West Peak.

For tickets of the cable car, visitors may search "北峰索道" at the WeChat mini program "华山旅游服务平台" to purchase.
