This November, the 23rd Xi'an International Music Festival grandly opened. Over the next three months, more than 20 exciting performances will take place at the Shaanxi Grand Theatre, Xi'an Concert Hall, and Kaiyuan Grand Theatre.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the passing of Italian opera maestro Giacomo Puccini. On December 30th, the Xi'an Symphony Orchestra, Xi'an Symphony Orchestra, and Xi'an Symphony Orchestra Chorus will celebrate this timeless legacy with a concert that captures the essence of Puccini's operas, sending a New Year's greeting from Xi'an to the world.
On December 31st, the Siberian Symphony Orchestra will present an absolutely surprising New Year's Eve experience—two consecutive concerts featuring different styles of music, merging classical and rock to create a one-of-a-kind artistic evening.
On January 1, 2025, the esteemed Japanese conductor Tomomi Nishimoto will once again come to China with the IlluminArt Philharmonic Orchestra. They will perform symphonic works by Mozart, Beethoven, and the renowned Russian composer Tchaikovsky, bringing a spectacular New Year's Eve celebration filled with classic renditions.

2024 marks the fifteenth anniversary of the Xi'an Concert Hall.
