On May 25, the Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum released a notice regarding visits during the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival holiday (May 31 to June 2):
As the Dragon Boat Festival holiday approaches, the museum aims to enhance its reception and service capabilities to better meet visitors' needs. To achieve this, the museum will implement policies such as increasing ticket availability and extending opening hours during the holiday.
The detailed opening information for the Dragon Boat Festival holiday is as follows:
1. During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday (May 31 to June 2), the museum's ticket checking will start at 7:00 (advanced from the regular time), and ticket checking will end at 18:00 (postponed from the regular time). The museum will close at 20:00.
2. The visiting areas include the Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum and the Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum National Archaeological Site Park, also known as Lishan Park. Each visit takes approximately 1.5 hours, and there is a free shuttle bus service that provides round trips between the two locations. If you arrive in the afternoon, it is recommended to visit Lishan Park first to avoid congestion.
3. During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, an additional 10,000 tickets will be released daily on top of the original quantity, bringing the daily ticket availability to 75,000.
4. Tickets for the Dragon Boat Festival holiday are now available for reservation. Each valid ID can only make one successful reservation.
5. The museum has never authorized any third-party platforms, channels, or companies to sell visiting tickets. Visitors are advised to reserve tickets exclusively through the official website or WeChat public account.
