A night cruise on the moat has a charm all its own. Lights shimmer on the water like scattered silver. As the boat glides along, it feels as though you're slipping into a three‑dimensional painting that has come to life.

Countless artifacts here seem to come alive: pottery figurines clutching instruments burst into song on the grey bricks. Beneath dazzling shafts of light, ancient monuments are transformed into animations in a traditional Chinese aesthetic, vividly and wittily recounting their own stories.

Passing through Wumu Gate, you will enter a featured night market with a smoky and bustling vibe. Here, history sheds its chill and becomes the warm, bubbling heat rising from iron woks.

Songyuan & Liuyuan at Yongning Gate

Yongning Gate is perpetually aglow, and Songyuan to the west teems with people. Neon from cocktail bars paints the night, while music wafts beneath the ancient city gate.

On the east side, in Liuyuan, people raise their glasses and trade lively toasts. Even late into the night, the laughter never dies, breathing fresh life into the ancient city.

Traces of the Tang Dynasty still show in the city wall at night. The gray bricks that look solemn by day are softened into patterns of light and shadow after dark. Visit the Xi'an City Wall and feel the evening breeze, the night in Chang'an will stay with you.
