Recently, the Xi'an Port officially launched an online declaration system for foreign arrival cards, implementing it in sync with all other open ports across the country. Foreign passengers can now fill in their entry information online in advance, eliminating the need to complete paper forms at the port and effectively reducing queuing time during clearance.
To guarantee the seamless operation of the system, the Shaanxi Exit-Entry Frontier Inspection Station formed a specialized task force. This team conducted a series of rigorous system tests and procedural drills to proactively identify and resolve potential issues. Additionally, they enhanced over 20 multilingual signs at the port, standardized service procedures, and ensured prompt responses to inquiries from international passengers.
The Shaanxi Exit-Entry Frontier Inspection Station collaborated with the airport to enhance and expand wireless network infrastructure, simplifying the real-name authentication process. They introduced a seamless "authentication-free QR code scanning" system for declarations, streamlining passenger experiences. Additionally, drills were conducted to effectively address special situations, such as passengers without mobile devices or incorrect information submissions, ensuring swift and efficient problem resolution.
Additionally, the Shaanxi Exit-Entry Frontier Inspection Station collaborated with the airport, airlines, and other relevant units to establish a comprehensive promotion mechanism, guiding foreign passengers to complete online declarations during check-in, in-flight, and upon arrival.
Captain Wang Hong of the First Duty Team at the Shaanxi Frontier Inspection Station explained, "Compared to the traditional paper-based method, the online declaration process is more straightforward, significantly reducing passengers' waiting time for clearance. It has also further assisted officers in improving inspection efficiency, achieving a dual enhancement in both the clearance experience and work performance."
