A visit to Xi'an isn't complete without experiencing the Grand Tang Ever-bright City. Starting February 10th (the 23rd of the twelfth lunar month, also known as the ”Little New Year"), daily performances will begin at noon, along with five brand-new shows for visitors to enjoy.

12:00 Giant Wild Goose Pagoda Water Fountain and Light Show(First Session)
This performance honors classic traditions. Using staggered schedules, integrated routes, and optimized timing, it shortens waits, improves flow, and offers a more immersive Tang Dynasty New Year experience. A smoother and more enjoyable journey into Tang-era splendor will be presented.

Running from February 10th to 14th, the new schedule involves five new performances that blend poetry, dance, music, and audience interaction—painting a vivid scene of Tang Dynasty culture. Shows take place between 15:00 and 17:30, and visitors are advised to stroll from north to south to enjoy each one. On-stage interactions are possible at select performances.

A new duo, the Tang Dynasty door gods Qin Qiong and Yuchi Jingde, makes a surprise appearance. Through witty Q&A sessions, they incorporate traditional Chinese New Year customs and auspicious phrases, allowing visitors to embrace good fortune and joy amid laughter.
Venue: Grand Tang Secret Box Stage

Inspired by Tang poet Du Fu's renowned poem, this performance revives the legendary figure's heroic swordplay, blending poetry, dance, and martial arts into a vivid scroll of Tang Dynasty elegance.
Venue: Zhenguan Square

Drawing on Li Bai's poetic spirit and the iconic "tumbler" figure, performers sway gracefully with wine pots, evoking the poet's free-spirited charm. The interactive "Exchanging Wine Cups" segment invites the audience to join in.
Venue: Kaiyuan Square

This performance celebrates the artistic fusion of Tang poet Wang Wei and musician Li Guinian, blending ancient poetry with traditional instruments to create an elegant "poetry within music" experience. An interactive singing segment invites the audience to join in.
Venue: Chang'an Story Stage

Set in the world of Tang palace banquets, this performance weaves together ritual, music, dance, and grand compositions to recreate the splendor of imperial feasts. Through dignified movement and majestic melodies, it offers an elegant celebration that captures the spirit of the Tang era.
Venue: Floral Cluster Square

From 19:00, the Water Fountain and Light Show will be staged again at the North Square of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda.

From 19:30 to 21:30, the performances introduced above will be presented in succession.

At 21:25, the finale performances will take the stage in the southern and northern areas, respectively.

The schedule features multiple shows daily from February 10th to 14th, and again from February 15th to 23rd, plus March 3rd, across various themed squares and stages.
