Starting from April 1, the large-scale water dance and light show Chasing Dreams of the Tang Dynasty at Xi'an Tang Paradise officially returns. The performance will run through October, staged at 20:00 every night on Furong Lake with a duration of approximately 50 minutes.

Against the backdrop of Ziyun Tower and the park's scenery, the show uses Qujiang Lake as its stage for an immersive water-screen performance. With light and projection recreating historic scenes, it lets audiences experience Tang culture as a highlight of Xi'an's spring nighttime tourism.

Narrated around renowned Tang poet Li Bai and his poetry, the show blends lifting water screens, multidimensional water fountains and architectural projection with performances by over 100 actors, recreating iconic prosperous Tang scenes such as the Silk Road and Rainbow Skirt and Feathered Robe Dance.

As one of the cultural performances of Xi'an Qujiang Culture & Tourism Co., Ltd., Chasing Dreams of the Tang Dynasty has attracted visitors to experience the glory of the Tang Dynasty through a "day tour + night performance" model since its launch. Audiences watch the show on cruise boats while enjoying the night view of the pavilions and towers in the park.

Show times will be adjusted dynamically according to peak tourist seasons, with extra performances likely to be added during holidays such as Labor Day and National Day. Visitors can purchase tickets via official channels and enter Tang Paradise with a valid ticket.

Following the show's return, the scenic area will integrate Tang-style performances and intangible cultural heritage experiences to form a nighttime cultural tourism consumption chain, supporting the development of Xi'an's nighttime economy.

The performance has become one of the key windows for visitors from home and abroad to explore the culture of the prosperous Tang Dynasty.
