Applied Materials' series lectures open in Xi'an

The Applied Material' Gemei Lecture of the Xi'an Young Science and Technology Practitioners Care Program officially opened on May 29 in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.

With the strong support of the Xi'an Association for Science and Technology and the Xi'an Museum Association, the public welfare activity is co-sponsored by the Shaanxi Women and Children Development Foundation and Applied Materials (China) Co.

It will provide high-quality public welfare lectures covering history, archaeology, literature, art and technology, guiding young science and technology practitioners to pay attention to local history and culture and helping the development of Xi'an's cultural and technological integration.

It is hoped that through the program, the company will further enrich the artistic accomplishments of young scientific and technological workers in Xi'an and contribute to the exchanges and integration of culture and technology in Xi'an, said Yu Dinglu, vice-president of Applied Materials Group and president of Applied Materials (China) Co.
