The first snow in Xi'an (partial region) just arrived. Small as it is, people got really excited about it.

Compared with the snow volume in the city, the amount in the Qingling Mountains is quite heavy. So let's take a look at the gorgeous snow-viewing sites in the Qinling Mountains and immerse ourselves in the snowy land.

Bingjing Peak

Bingjing Peak, the highest point of Zhuque National Forest Park, is located at the junction of Binghecui Scenic Area and Taiping National Forest Park. The name "Bingjing (ice crystal) Peak" was given upon the completion of the Zhuque Forest National Park in 2000, for the mountain is often covered with ice crystals.

One has to take a hike to get to Bingjing Peak. And the peak is 3015.1 meters above sea level, making it the highest peak east of Taibai within the Qinling Mountains.

Guangtou Mountain

At 2,887 meters above sea level, Guangtou Mountain is a famous peak in the Qinling Mountains.

Standing on its top, you can see the "Taibai Snow" in the west and the "Huayue Xianzhang" in the east, featured scenes of Taibai Mountain and Huashan Mountain respectively. The meadow of Guangtou Mountain is part of the Qinling Watershed, which is the watershed of the Yellow River and Yangtze River, and is the geographical boundary between the north and the south.

Jiwozi Village

Jiwozi Village is located in the deep Qinling Mountains, more than 80 kilometers from Xi'an. The name "Jiwozi" refers to the farm chicken coop, which later became a location name, and many hikers prefer to hike from here.

You can drive to the village, traveling through the dense fir forest without hard hiking.

Yushan Mountain in Lantian County

It takes around 40 minutes to drive from Xi'an City to Yushan Mountain.The surrounding area is wide open, and you can enjoy the vast snowy scenery at the bottom of the mountain without strenuous climbing.
