Recently, the photography exhibition "Encounters·Silk Road: Xi'an In the Eyes of an Italian Journalist" was launched at the Xi'an Museum. Focusing on the theme of "city memory of Xi'an in the 1970s and 1980s", the exhibition showcases 87 carefully selected photos taken by the Italian journalist Adriano Màdaro, which are freely accessible to the public. 

The exhibition is structured in chronological order and divided into four parts. Adriano Màdaro chronicled the historical story of the city, intricately connecting the two ancient civilizations at either end of the Silk Road.

The exhibition is equipped with projectors and old objects from the 1970s and 1980s to help visitors better understand the past of Xi'an.

In "The Bell Tower", Xi'an Bell Tower is illuminated by the setting sun, as if it was just polished and glazed. The beautiful scenery of the setting sun and the crowds of people coming and going is absolutely fascinating.

In "Past Look of the City", the view shows the west side of the Xi'an Bell Tower.

In "Time for a Bite", the cook pulled the noodles by stretching a piece of dough sideways. With each stretch, the noodles magically become thinner and longer.

Another "Time for a Bite", this is an outdoor food court, and it's mealtime every day after eleven in the morning.

In "Past Look of the City", a man's wooden cart is filled with pink flowers. The photo depicts the daily life of the local people, and the man in the photo naturally becomes the focal point.

In "Welcoming Ceremony at the Airport", it was in May 1979, a delegation of five Italian journalists was invited to China. At Xi'an Airport, students lined up and danced to present a welcoming ceremony.

"The Preserved City Wall in Xi'an", Xi'an City Wall is nearly 14 kilometers long, well-preserved and restored to its original state. It is an invaluable treasure of the city.

"The Xi'an Bell Tower", like the old Chang'an City, the central urban area of Xi'an in modern times has a checkerboard layout.
