Shaanxi Media Convergence (Shaanxi Broadcasting Corporation) joins hands with Jilin Broadcast and Television Station to open a 600-hour transnational convergence media live broadcast of "The Thousands of Miles on the Silk Road". On June 20, the convergence media interview group set out from Xi'an, and will drive through 13 countries in Asia and Europe in 52 days, with live broadcast and camera to take the audience to enjoy the flowing scenery and the Silk Road Style.
"The Thousands of Miles on the Silk Road" media event was first launched in 2014, and it has already achieved a decade-long journey. The event has covered over 50 countries and regions across Asia and Europe and hundreds of cities along the Silk Road, with the team traveling millions of kilometers.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of China-France diplomatic ties and the China-France Year of Culture and Tourism. The media group will travel through Central Asia, the Caspian Sea, Western Asia, and Eastern Europe, crossing 13 countries in the Eurasian continent and finally arriving in Paris, France.
The launch site of the event is located at the Xi'an International Port Area, where the China-Europe freight train (Xi'an) also sets off.
The media group will embark on a journey lasting more than 50 days and covering 16,000 kilometers. The media group will arrive in Paris and share the joy and passion of the 2024 Olympic Games with people from around the world.
The broadcast event features real-time reports along the Silk Road, leading viewers to explore the natural wonders and folk customs of the Silk Road, also applying documentaries and short videos to capture every exciting moment of the journey.
