On August 16, the 2nd "Shaanxi Village BA" sports-tourism promotion event kicked off in Langao County, Ankang City, with over 200 basketball games scheduled to be played by 78 teams from five provinces and municipalities – Sichuan, Shaanxi, Hubei, Chongqing, and Jiangsu – until October 7.The opening ceremony was definitely exhilarating, followed by a spectacular city-wide parade with tens of thousands of participants. Twelve parade teams, representing the twelve towns, put on dazzling performances featuring their unique local culture and interact with the residents and tourists along the way.

Langao County, the host of this Village BA tournament, enjoys a broad and profound grassroots base for basketball. In recent years, Langao County has taken the lead in Ankang City to establish a "10-minute sports fitness circle". It hosts over 20 sports competition events annually, becoming a favored destination for domestic sports enthusiasts in China for outdoor activities.
