The 11th SRIFF(Silk Road International Film Festival) will be held in Xi'an from September 21 to 25, 2024. With the theme of "Silk Road for a Connected World, Films in Bright Chang'an", the 11th SRIFF is sponsored by the People's Government of Shaanxi Province, People's Government of Fujian Province, and China Media Group, organized by the Shaanxi Film Administration and Xi'an Municipal People's Government, and operated by the Qujiang New District Management Committee. The SRIFF encompasses seven main activities: the opening ceremony, activities led by the Guest of Honor, the judging of the "Golden Silk Road Award", a film panorama, a film forum, Silk Road film exchange series events, and the closing ceremony and award ceremony. It aims to actively promote the Belt and Road Initiative through diverse and content-rich film activities and create a high-level, characteristic, and influential international cultural exchange event.

17 screening theaters, 12 universities, and 113 square communities in 10 cities (districts) in Xi'an were selected as the screening venues, covering more than 100 films in 9 major units: Guest of Honor Uzbekistan-Samarkand Film Week, The 60th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between China and France-Special Panorama, Classic Re-screenings, Silk Road Visions, Grand Panorama, 4K Reproduction, Wonderland of Animation, Documentary-Reality, and Golden Years.
