Liu Tianjun, Vice President of Northwest A&F University, released the "2024 China Arid Area Agricultural Technology Development Report" and "2024 China Agricultural Industry Investment Report".

According to the "2024 China Arid Area Agricultural Technology Development Report", in arid areas of China during 2024, there are 6 major national leading technologies, 90 leading agricultural varieties and 70 main agricultural technologies, which fully demonstrate the innovative achievements and broad application prospects of agricultural technologies in the arid areas in 2024. According to the "2024 China Agricultural Industry Investment Report", there were 324 investment cases in the agricultural field in 2023, with an investment amount of about 12.609 billion yuan, with Guangdong, Shandong, Beijing and Henan Provinces as the main investment areas.

At the signing ceremony, 53 projects worth a total amount of 9.191 billion yuan were signed, involving seed, health, agriculture-related equipment, stem cell medical treatment, intelligent terminal manufacturing, agricultural big data, agricultural and cultural tourism, exhibition services and other related industries.
