The featured event "2025 Celebrate the Chinese New Year in Yulin" will be launched on January 22 and continue until February 12. The main venue in Yulin City and sub-venues in the counties and districts will jointly create a festive atmosphere for celebrating the Chinese New Year.

The main venue in the central urban area of Yulin has planned over 10 activities, covering folk customs, Chinese New Year goods, ice and snow activities, and fireworks. The sub-venues in the counties and other districts will also arrange more than 120 activities.

The folk program features the National Yangge Dance Performance, Chinese New Year Lantern Festival, traditional opera, and handwritten Spring Festival couplets. The National Yangge Dance has 16 national and 19 local troupes performing, along with groups from Russia, South Korea, Thailand, and Bulgaria.

On the traditional Chinese New Year's goods market activities, the Yulin Ancient Street Intangible Cultural Heritage Grand Fair and the Century Square Intangible Cultural Heritage National Trend Gathering, which will be launched on January 22 (the 23rd of the 12th lunar month) and February 1 (the 4th of the 1st lunar month), will offer affordable traditional Chinese New Year's goods and cultural creative products for residents and tourists to purchase.

Ice and snow activities will also be carried out, with a full range of activities such as ice skating, skiing, and unique ice sculptures, making it an ideal choice for family entertainment.

To celebrate the joyous and festive atmosphere of the holidays, on January 28th (New Year's Eve) at 7:30 PM, fireworks displays will be held at several major locations in the city. Additionally, on February 12th (Lantern Festival) at 8:00 PM, a drone performance will be held at the East City Wall and the east parking lot of Shahe Park.

During "2025 Celebrate the Chinese New Year in Yulin" event, the city will offer E-vouchers for travel and shopping, with discounts at scenic spots and hostels. Additionally, it will launch six themed tourism routes, including ice and hot springs, cultural heritage, self-driving along the Yellow River, red tours, and border landscape tours, showcasing the unique flavors of the Chinese New Year in Northern Shaanxi.
