On the evening of April 4, 2025, the "Chang'an Impression Tang Dynasty Grand Welcoming Ceremony" held performances at Yongning Gate of the Xi'an City Wall, extending the legacy of Tang Dynasty ritual culture.

 

Beneath the Yongning Gate of the Xi'an city walls, golden armor sparkled as civil and military officials poured out and led the guests back to experience the captivating splendor of the Tang Dynasty.

The performance portrays a welcoming ceremony from the Tang Dynasty, featuring a processional guard of honor and a theatrical show on the city walls. It combines poetry, songs, and prose to showcase the grandeur of the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Inside the bastion, five Tang Dynasty-themed dances drew enthusiastic applause from the audience.
