Xi'an was recognized as one of China's Top 10 Exhibition Cities for 2024-2025 at the recent China International Conference & Exhibition Industry Innovation and Development Conference held in Shanghai. This honor is attributed to its strong city brand, well-equipped exhibition facilities, business-friendly environment, and the growing scale of its exhibitions.
The conference, titled "Empowering Integration, Innovating Development," gathered representatives from major exhibition cities, industry experts, and leading enterprises to discuss new growth opportunities and development strategies.
In the past year, Xi'an has emerged as an important exhibition hub within the Belt and Road Initiative. The city has improved its market-oriented exhibition practices, enhanced industry and consumer expos, expanded international certifications, and developed brand exhibitions. Additionally, local events have seen accelerated nationwide growth. As a result, the exhibition economy in Xi'an has thrived, significantly contributing to industrial growth and increasing consumer spending.
Xi'an will enhance international cooperation, improve its exhibition business environment, and boost its global, market-driven, and digital capabilities. By attracting more prestigious events, the city aims to accelerate economic growth, drive industrial upgrades, and stimulate consumer activity.
