At 3:55 PM on June 21, the X8155 full timetable China-Europe freight train (Xi'an-Duisburg, Germany), loaded with auto parts, LED displays, and other goods, departed from Xi'an International Port Station. This marked the 1,000th trip of the full timetable China-Europe freight trains. Jointly launched by China State Railway and countries along the route, this refreshing freight train has gained favor and recognition in the market from both domestic and international customers for its stable and timely transportation.
The full timetable China-Europe freight train operates according to pre-arranged schedules, including designated train numbers, routes, departure times, and arrival times across countries along the route, realizing the integration of operation timetables of the Chinese section, the broad-gauge section, and the European section.
Since the launch of the train on October 26, 2022, China State Railway Group Co., Ltd has enhanced communication and coordination with railway departments in the countries along the route. The company has continuously expanded the operational scale of the full timetable China-Europe freight trains. They have successfully compiled and implemented three batches of full timetables for these trains, expanded the operation routes to a total of 11, and established a routine of 17 trips per week. This provides customers with reliable expectations for production, trade, and logistics.
To date, the full timetable China-Europe freight train has attracted a significant number of high-value cargoes, including photovoltaic panels, solar components, and marine internal combustion engine parts. The average value per container shipped is approximately 41% higher than that of other freight trains, with a total shipment exceeding 98,000 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units).
