Low-altitude drones in Xi'an advancing logistics

Recently, AVIC XAC Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd. in Yanliang District, Xi'an, has completed the first prototype of the independently developed Xinzhou-Honghu HH-200 commercial drone. This milestone marks a significant breakthrough in China’s "low-altitude + logistics" sector, providing a new solution for diverse applications, including transportation and emergency support.

The aircraft boasts a service life of 30,000–50,000 flight hours, exceptional durability with 15,000 flight takeoffs and landings, and a stable transport capacity of 12 million tons throughout its full lifecycle.

"Based on current data, the Xinzhou-Honghu 200 unmanned transport system delivers a 2.5-fold increase in payload and a 1.5-fold increase in range compared to the Xinzhou-Honghu 100. The Xinzhou-Honghu HH-200 drone features all-domain flight capability, operating across major continents and within 800 kilometers of coastlines. With strong environmental adaptability and a short takeoff/landing distance under 500 meters, it is fully compatible with all general aviation airports.

The drone also provides comprehensive functional coverage, including emergency material delivery, airdrops, firefighting, and environmental control. Its capabilities can also be extended to specialized operations such as agricultural tasks and remote sensing.
