The third China-Europe Freight Train Spring Festival Goods Festival and the 2026 Shaanxi International Sister Cities Carnival gathered specialty products and local delicacies from countries along the Silk Road, attracting many residents to stop and shop.

It showcases products from countries along the Silk Road and from top local Shaanxi companies. The event's first train delivered over 90,000 bags of noodles and flour from Aiju Group's overseas factory. At the festival's bustling "Silk Road Goodies Market," visitors can find a dazzling array of imported foods and handmade crafts, offering a convenient one-stop shop for all their New Year needs.

This year's festival introduced a "Chinese New Year" cultural zone and a traditional food area, where international students and business visitors from countries such as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan made dumplings and Shaanxi's signature "biangbiang noodles," immersing themselves in the festivities and traditional culture.

In 2025, China-Europe freight train (Xi'an) surpassed 6,000 trips annually—a record high in both frequency and cargo volume. The network now operates 18 international routes covering major regions across Eurasia. With 26 marshaling lines, Xi'an International Port efficiently consolidates goods from key Chinese economic zones, including the Yangtze River Delta, Greater Bay Area, and central-western areas, ensuring streamlined nationwide distribution.
