On February 10, the Chinese New Year flash mob events kicked off at Terminal T5 of Xi'an Xianyang International Airport.Xi'an Airport Company enriches the transit experience by blending air travel with local culture, allowing passengers to enjoy the unique charm of Xi'an's historic attractions right at the terminal.

The event kicked off with a lively street dance, merging Tang-style dance, poetry recitation, and Chinese-Western musical ensembles. This blend of modern and traditional elements captured Xi'an's unique essence, creating a festive and vibrant atmosphere for the Chinese New Year.
Celebrating the Year of the Horse, Xi'an Xianyang International Airport presents a striking "Horse Galloping in the Sky" exhibition, inspired by the Tang Dynasty's "The Six Steeds of Zhaoling Mausoleum." Complemented by festive Chinese knot decorations, the display blends Tang-era heritage with the Chinese New Year spirit, offering travelers a unique cultural journey.
From Chinese New Year's Eve (February 16) to the Chinese New Year's Day (February 17), Xi'an Xianyang International Airport will hold more flash mob events to enhance the passenger experience. The festivities will also be live-streamed for online audiences to enjoy.

This Spring Festival, Xi'an Xianyang International Airport is forecast to handle 39,000 flights and transport 5.762 million passengers. Peak travel days—the 26th of the twelfth lunar month (February 13) and the 7th of the first lunar month (February 23)—are expected to see daily passenger numbers surpass 140,000.
