During the Spring Festival holiday, the Xi'an City Wall drew crowds of visitors. Two elderly tourists stand out wearing eye-catching exoskeleton suits like sci-fi mecha, walking steadily with powered support. In fact, they are wearing an exoskeleton robot made in China.

Recently, Xi'an City Wall Scenic Area and Haier Robotics jointly established the "Cultural Heritage Intelligent Robot Application and Innovation Laboratory" and set up several exoskeleton robot rental stations.Zhao Bin, director of the Digital Control Center for Cultural Relics Protection of Xi'an City Wall, said: "The Xi'an City Wall stretches 13.7 kilometers, requiring great physical effort to walk the entire route. The exoskeleton robot reduces pressure on the wearer's lower limb joints by 40% and delays fatigue by 60%, allowing more visitors to enjoy the profound cultural heritage here in a more relaxed and immersive way."

Empowered by technology, visitors can now walk farther along the wall, enhancing the overall experience along the ancient city wall.According to the staff, the device weighs only about 2 kilograms. As a wearable intelligent power system, it senses the wearer's movement and terrain in real time, adapts to their stride and habits, and provides stable, natural assistance through flexible motor drive technology.
