On April 5, accompanied by cheers from football fans, Train Y520 slowly departed from Baoji Station and headed east to Xianyang, Shaanxi, marking the official launch of Shaanxi's first football fan special train in 2026.

This is an innovative move by China Railway Xi'an Bureau Group to better serve fans, expand special train services, and promote integrated "rail + culture, tourism, sports and business" development.

On March 12 this year, Shaanxi Union Football Club officially announced that it would make Xi'an International Football Center its new home venue for the 2026 Chinese Football League 1.

Located in Fengdong New City, Xixian New Area, the stadium is just 10 km from Xianyang Railway Station. It is Northwest China's first and only professional football stadium certified by both FIFA and AFC, and a landmark of Xi'an as a premier sports event city.

Its facilities meet top-tier competition standards, allowing it to host world-class events, including the FIFA World Cup, and offering premium conditions for football fans and team training.

This special train operates as Y520 from Baoji to Xianyang (outbound) and Y521 from Xianyang to Baoji (return). After departing Baoji Station, it stops at Guozhen, Caijiapo, Yangling, Xingping and other stations, offering convenient travel for fans along the route.

"To enhance fans' travel experience, we have provided full-process services and coordinated with Xianyang Public Transport Group to run special shuttles between the station and the stadium, achieving seamless rail-bus connections and covering the 'last mile' for fans," said Zheng Youjun, Station Manager of Xianyang Station, China Railway Xi'an Group.

Meanwhile, Xianyang Station has set up exclusive fan logos, a dedicated waiting area, and a photo wall, building a lively, ceremonial match-day atmosphere.

Going forward, China Railway Xi'an Bureau Group will continue to respond to the diverse travel needs of the public, expand service scenarios such as "rail + sports" and "rail + culture and tourism", and launch more customized, high-quality special train services.
