June 10 marks the International Day for Dialogue Among Civilizations, designated by the UN General Assembly. On the day, nearly 50 teenagers from 10 schools in the US joined local students and volunteers in Shaanxi at Xi'an Science and Technology Museum. They took part in interactive science experiments and experienced featured activities, forging closer bonds and friendship.

Hailey Beth Justensen, a middle school student from Utah, has spent three days touring scenic spots and exhibition halls across Xi'an. She said the Terracotta Army and the activities at the science museum left a deep impression on her.

Genevieve Curtis, a high school student from Arizona, is a big fan of Chinese culture and can recite the Tang Dynasty poem Spring Prospect. She enjoyed doing science experiments with Chinese peers, describing the "Flame in Palm" experiment as novel, fun and amazing.

Many US students said they gained a great deal from the event. They used to know Xi'an only for its profound history and splendid culture, but the visit showed them the city's modern vitality and strong technological strength. All of them look forward to coming back to Xi'an again in the future.
