On June 24, the China-Central Asia Youth Development Dialogue. The event gathered over 80 youth representatives from China and five Central Asian countries, including organizational leaders and young entrepreneurs, to explore new cooperation opportunities in innovation, trade and culture.

Hosted in Xi'an for successive years, the dialogue has evolved into a landmark platform for regular exchanges between Chinese and Central Asian youth. A host of pilot youth cooperation projects have already been launched in cross-border e-commerce and digital cultural and creative industries.

Many Chinese and Central Asian youth delegates noted Xi'an's rich Silk Road legacy and strong sci-tech, education and industrial resources offer an unmatched platform for innovators and entrepreneurs from all six nations. They aim to deepen youth ties to unlock cooperation in modern agriculture, advanced manufacturing, cross-border trade and tech innovation, strengthening Silk Road people-to-people exchanges.

Central Asian youth delegates shared their cooperation visions sequentially, unanimously pushing for a permanent communication channel covering education, entrepreneurship and cultural creation to connect civilizations. The Kyrgyz side looked back on long-standing bilateral ties, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan summed up recent youth cooperation gains, while Uzbekistan advocated a stable six-country youth dialogue platform for knowledge sharing and lasting friendship.

Key cooperation results were unveiled at the event. Chinese institutions inked five practical youth development projects with Central Asian universities and enterprises across five core sectors: cross-border e-commerce, joint schooling, mineral processing, specialty agri-product trading and digital supply chains. The deals offer concrete startup collaboration pathways for young people from all six countries.
