Netizens share all kinds of distinctive portable cups, ranging from glass tumblers and vintage enamel mugs to custom-designed creative vessels. Short clips of baristas handling these quirky containers have also become popular posts, injecting fun into low-carbon consumption.

Apart from bringing reusable coffee cups, low-carbon habits run through all facets of Xi'an residents' daily life. Shoppers use cloth bags instead of single-use plastic ones; diners practice the Clear Your Plate Campaign and request no disposable cutlery on takeout orders; commuters take public transit to reduce private car carbon footprints. These simple actions make an easy-to-adopt green lifestyle for all.

Lifestyle service apps act as bridges for sustainable living. Platforms including Meituan and Dianping have rolled out a search filter for BYOC discount stores, enabling shoppers to quickly find participating venues and removing hurdles for green consumption.
