For 33 years, Yue Baozheng, a tour guide in Xi'an, has been using "Shaanxi-style English" to narrate the story of the Terracotta Warriors to visitors from around the world.

Before entering the scenic area, Yue always asks the visitors questions to help them form ideas about the eighth wonder of the world—the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin.

The Terracotta Army always attracts a large number of tourists. To provide them with a better experience, Yue always prepares high-quality images to support his introduction. Yue does not stick strictly to written introductions; instead, he focuses more on engaging with tourists. With 33 years of experience in the field, Yue never encounters complaints, earning respect and admiration from foreign visitors. He often says, "Knowledge is power."

In 1966, Yue was born in a rural area in Xianyang, Shaanxi. Despite humble beginnings, his passion for English led him to become a foreign language major in the 1980s. During his college years, Yue worked part-time at tourist attractions in Xi'an. This experience not only improved his spoken English but also sparked a strong interest in his tour guide profession.

More and more foreign visitors come to learn about the history and culture of China through the Terracotta Warriors. Yue exclaimed, "The facilities in the scenic area have been internationalized. Foreign visitors usually foster different impressions before and after coming to China."

Yue is very proud of his "Tourg Guide Family". Influenced by him, Yue's son, daughter, and son-in-law have all become tour guides at the scenic area of Terracotta Warriors.

Today, Yue still diligently studies every day, continuously updating his tour guide materials. Through his English guide service, he aims to showcase the charm of Chinese traditional culture to more foreign tourists. Yue also showed his passion for continuing to work in this position for another 20 years, aiming to "keep learning, achieve personal worth, and enjoy life even at an old age."
