South Section of Xi'an Outer Ring Expressway

The southern section of Xi'an Outer Ring Expressway, with a total length of 70.16 km, is planned to be completed and open to traffic by the end of 2021. At that time, Xi'an is expected to be free of traffic congestion on the expressway.

Pucheng to Laoyu section of Beijing-Kunming Expressway

         

The construction project starts from the Beijing-Kunming Expressway (G5) and Yulin-Lantian Expressway (G6521), it intersects with the Dongyang Hub Interchange and ends at the Laoyu Interchange of Beijing-Kunming Expressway. The total length of the route is 164.386 km, of which the reconstruction and expansion section is 125.878 km. The project also involves the existing 38.508 km of Xi'an Ring Expressway, adopting the two-way eight-lane expressway standard for the entire route, and the designed speed is 120 km/h. The expressway is expected to be open to traffic in 2023.

Huzhoumei Expressway

  

The route starts at Shuizhai Village, Huyi District, Xi'an City, with a hub interchange connecting with Beijing-Kunming Expressway. It goes west through Zhouzhi County, Jixian Town, Louguan Town, South of Zhouzhi County, Yabai Town, Qinghua Town, and Huai County. The road ends at the southeast side of Bawang River Industrial Park in Meixian County, connected to the Guanzhong Ring Road which is still under construction. The total length of the route is about 71.9 km, which is proposed to adopt the two-way six-lane highway standard with a designed speed of 120 km/h.

National Highway 210 crossing Xi’an

         

The starting point of the project is the National Highway 210 in Gaoling District, and the highway ends near the Houguanzhai Village, intersecting with the Guanzhong Ring Road. The route is 60.310 km long and constructed according to two-way six-lane standard, with a roadbed width of 24-60 m and a designed speed 60/80 km/h.

The Xihu Highway Project

         

The starting point of the project is connected with the extension line of Xibu Avenue, which is part of the construction planning of Xi’an High-tech Development Zone. The road extends to the northwest and ends at the intersection of Gancao Road and Zhengxiao Road, with a total length of 27.635 km. It adopts a two-way six-lane urban expressway and a first-class highway standard. The designed speed is 100 km/h and 40 km/ for the main road and auxiliary road.
