The 3511 factory located on Minjie Road was once the largest towel factory in China, dubbed as "Asia's No. 1 Towel Factory". The plant has made important contributions to the military supply industry and Shaanxi's export in the early period of reform and opening up.

       

Textile machines have long stopped running, the power on the wane over six decades. However, the past glory are remembered and the factory now enjoys its revival.  

       

The updated buildings are in retro industrial style, retaining the original style of the factory buildings to the greatest extent. Guided by the principle of "micro-renovation", old buildings embrace new life in a modern way.  

         

3511 factory now evolves to a cultural park that integrates flower, bird and fish market, creative market, convenience service and cultural experience activities. The industrial heritage as part of city memory has witnessed urban development over the past years and now is part of city development itself. 3511 factory, built in 1954 and looked new in 2021, promises to bring more to Xi'an city in the future.
