The torch for the 14th National Games& The10th National Games for Persons with Disabilities & the 7th National Special Olympics was relayed in Xixian New Area a week ago.

               

The 69 torchbearers passed the lit torch in Xixian New Area for about 4.8 kilometers. They started from the beautiful Fenghe Golden Bay Plaza and finally reached the playground of the First Junior High School of Xixian New Area. Here is the whole route: Fenghe Golden Bay Plaza (starting point) → East Golden Bay Road → Energy Road → Xixianan Building → 1st Jinke Road → 2nd Energy Road → Shanglin Road (south section) → 1st Energy Road → Jinke Road → Energy Road → Shanglin Road (south section) → Fengchang Road.      

The torch relay activity in this new area, which was warmly received by the public, has seen lightlights in Xixian.

Fenghe Golden Bay Plaza (South square)

               

On the south square of Fenghe Golden Bay, smartly designed theme landscape is set up for the approaching National Games. Looked afar, the white beach is surrounded by vast green vegetation, presenting a delightful view.

Central Green Corridor

         

The Central Green Corridor in the phaseⅠof the Initial Area is equipped with public facilities such as solar-powered cell phone charging piles and resting seats, so that both individuals and cellphones can “get recharged” when they are exhausted.

The Initial Area

               

The Initial Area (PhaseⅠ) of the Energy Finance Trade Zone(EFTZ) has seen several well-quipped new comers like seven-eleven convenience store, Xixian Feng Flavor, and Xixian Novotel.   

               

The PhaseⅡof EFTZ is a critical node on the new axis of Greater Xi'an and a demonstration area for Xixian New Area to practice innovative urban development and explore new norms for development, construction, management and operation.

Shanglin Road

        

Shanglin Road, the main traffic artery of the EFTZ, is a hive of activity with high rises on both sides.

Energy Road

               

On the newly decorated cultural wall on both sides of the energy road, you can see slogans of the coming 14th National Games, creating a strong atmosphere of exciting games.

Xixian New Area NO.1 Junior High School

          

The NO.1 Junior High School boasts bright classrooms, a new athletic field, a weatherproof playground, well-equipped multi-functional classrooms and charming campus, reflecting the high school construction standards.

Xixian New Area will host equestrian and BMX contest during the 14th National Games.

               

The equestrian events, including equestrian field jumping, dressage and triathlon, will be held in a venue that is the largest and the best equipped of its kind in China.   

         

The venue will undertake two competitions, namely, BMX racing and freestyle BMX.The venue has a construction area of about 8000 square meters, with 1597 fixed seats and 500 temporary seats. This modern and intelligent cycling arena will be permanently kept after the competition as it is the leading one in China in terms of construction standards and specifications.
