Since the start of this summer, the flow of tourists to Mountain Huashan has been increasing, and the high-speed train has become the top choice for transportation. Confronted with the increase in tourists climbing Mountain Huashan at night, China Railway Xi'an Group Co., Ltd. launched the "night high-speed train" to Huashan Station, so as to provide more transportation capacity support for tourists climbing Mountain Huashan at night.

During the summer season, the high-speed rail trains between Xi'an and Huashan stations run 112 times a day, with an average interval of 8 minutes. As of August 28, Huashan North Railway Station has received a total of 709,000 passengers, with a year-on-year increase of 91.2%.

In order to meet the travel needs of passengers climbing Mountain Huashan at night, China Railway Xi'an Group Co., Ltd. launched a pair of G9938/7 trains between Xi'an North Station and Huashan North Station, which depart Xi'an at 21:19 and arrive at Huashan at 21:48. The whole journey takes only 29 minutes. The trains will depart at 8:02 in the morning the next day and head to Xi'an.
